As reported by the Ministry of Energy, a large fire broke out in a gas pipeline in the Nishan district of the Kashkadarya region.
According to the report, the fire occurred today, August 21, at 11:35 a.m., between wells in the Shirinabad mine (belonging to Epsilon Private Enterprise) due to a gas leak from a pipe with a diameter of 426 mm.
The fire has been fully extinguished, and repair work is currently underway.
"No one was injured in the incident. Additional information on the situation will be provided," the report stated.
