A blogger is arrested for fraud

A blogger from Kashkadarya who was previously convicted and served more than 10 years in prison, was detained after receiving 7 million som from another citizen in exchange for 3 acres of land. The press service under the Internal Affairs Department report this.

It is noted that M. Sh, a resident of the Guzar district, gained the confidence of residents of the province, promising to acquire many connections in city and county offices, as well as to obtain land through his official connections.

In particular, M.SH. was arrested on 21 February, in a tea house in Karshi for defrauding E.O for 7 million som.

The Kashkadarya regional criminal investigation department of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Office of the Procurator-General of the Republic of Uzbekistan initiated criminal proceedings under the Article 168 (fraud), and 25-211 (attempted bribery) of the Code of Criminal Procedure and the offender was detained for the offense that was highlighted in Article 221 of CPP.

A preliminary investigation is currently being conducted by the Kashkadarya Internal Affairs Department.

It should be noted that M.SH had previously been sentenced to more than 10 years imprisonment under Articles 25 and 97 (attempted murder) and 164 (aggression) of the Criminal Code.
