In the Kukdala district of Kashkadarya region, individuals attempting to sell liquefied gas intended for the population and social institutions at subsidized prices have been apprehended. This was reported by the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the Prosecutor General’s Office.

According to the report, during an operational raid conducted jointly by the Kukdala district division of the department and the National Security Service (SSS), the head of “A.G.S.” LLC, D.K., in collusion with citizen M.H., attempted to sell 10,200 kg of liquefied gas—meant for citizens and social institutions at preferential rates—for 76.5 million UZS. The gas was loaded onto a KAMAZ tanker truck when the individuals were caught. During the operation, 35 million UZS and 2,000 USD were seized from citizen A.F.’s vehicle as material evidence.
