A six-year-old boy fell into a 25-meter artesian well in the Chirakchi district of the Kashkadarya region.  This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

It is noted that yesterday 12 June, at 14:01p.m., a resident of the Langar village in the neighborhood citizen’s gathering “Langar”, Chirakchin district, appealed to the regional department of Emergency Situations, and reported that that day at about 1:30 p.m. his 6-year-old son fell into a 200-diameter wide, 25-meter deep waterless artesian well that had been dug in his field.

Regional rescuers of the department of emergency situations and relevant services arrived at the place promptly.  Special equipment of the department of emergency situations, excavators, graders, and other equipment were involved in rescue operations.

As a result of the special operation held, the child was rescued today 13 June, at 22:25p.m.

"Currently the child is in a stable condition.  The child was treated by qualified ambulance personal and received necessary medical care, " -the report said.
