Electricity worth 4.2 billion soums stolen in Kashkadarya

Cases of illegal use of electricity worth 4.2 billion soums have been identified in Kashkadarya region. The Inspectorate for Control over the Use of Electricity, Petroleum Products and Gas reported this.
According to the report, during an inspection conducted by the Prosecutor General’s Office headquarters in Kasbi district of Kashkadarya region, it was found that water pumps belonging to U.M. farm had been arbitrarily connected to the power grid and had been illegally using electricity worth 1.841 billion soums.
A similar violation was also identified in water pumps belonging to citizen M.Sh. in Koson district. According to preliminary calculations, the damage caused amounted to 2.428 billion soums.
Earlier, it was reported that cases of illegal use of electricity worth 2.1 billion soums had been identified in Bukhara region.
