About 1,000 Uzbek students went to the United States of America to study. This was reported by the State Statistics Committee.

It is noted that in 11 months of 2022, 138,900 citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan went to foreign countries to study. Of these, the largest number of 52,291 people went to study in the Kyrgyz Republic.

Between January-November 2022, the section of countries where students traveled the most for the purpose of study is as follows:

To the Kyrgyz Republic – 52,291 people;
To the Republic of Tajikistan – 47,213 people;
To the Russian Federation – 13,128 people;
To the Republic of Kazakhstan – 10,646 people;
To the Republic of Turkey – 5,265 people;
To the Republic of South Korea – 4,645 people;
To the USA – 987 people;
To Great Britain – 971 people;
To the Republic of Belarus – 928 people;
To Germany – 772 people
