Posts are set up in Tashkent region to restrict movement towards “Kamchik” pass

7878In some districts of Tashkent region, posts have been established to temporarily restrict traffic on the “Kamchik” Pass. The Traffic Safety Service under the Public Safety Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports this.
It is noted that posts were established in the following five regions:
- at 107 km of the A-373 motorway (Piskent district, “Murotali” neighborhood citizens' union);
- at 131 km of the A-373 road (Akhangaran district, Beskostin intersection);
- at 137 km of A-373 (Akhangaron, Café “Rohat”);
- at 180 km of A-373 (Angren city, the front of Angren terminal);
- at 183 km of A-373 (exit from Angren).
In addition, due to the temporary closure of the Kamchik pass for passengers stranded on the way, a special train has been launched.
It is noted that the snow-covered sections of the pass are in poor condition and there is a risk of avalanche.
It had been reported earlier that some landslides had occurred on 6 parts of the "Tashkent - Valley" road.
