Uzbek citizens residing in Israel have been warned about newly introduced security restrictions in the country. The announcement was made by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Tel Aviv.
According to the statement, new security measures are in effect from 03:45 on June 22 until 08:00 on June 23. The decision comes in response to the deteriorating security situation in the region.
As part of the updated measures, areas previously designated for "limited activity" have now moved to a "necessary-only activity" regime. All educational institutions have suspended operations. Additionally, all manufacturing enterprises will be closed, except those essential to support military or civilian needs. Going to work will also be prohibited during this period.
"We once again urge our compatriots to strictly follow safety regulations, remain vigilant, and avoid leaving shelters during rocket attacks," the embassy said in its message.
The embassy also called on Uzbek nationals to stay updated through official sources of information.
It is worth recalling that earlier warnings were also issued for Israelis in Uzbekistan, following the escalation of hostilities between Iran and Israel. Israelis were advised not to display Jewish or Israeli symbols in public, refrain from sharing personal location details on social media, avoid public events related to Israel or Judaism, cooperate with local security services, and exercise heightened caution in public spaces.
