Israil Madrimov, the Uzbek boxer, will face American Terence Crawford in the main event of a professional boxing night scheduled for August 3 in Los Angeles, USA. 

The bout will feature Madrimov defending his World Boxing Organization (WBA) championship belt while competing for the interim World Boxing Organization (WBO) belt in the first middleweight category.

Bakhodir Jalolov, a confidant of Uzbek super heavyweight boxer Israil Madrimov, shared his thoughts on the upcoming bout with QALAMPIR.UZ.

"Crawford is formidable in the ring, someone we've admired since childhood. Israil Madrimov, on the other hand, is a calculated and disciplined athlete. The bout will occur within Madrimov's weight class, and Crawford has successfully made weight, a feat not all boxers accomplish. This presents a prime opportunity for Madrimov to elevate his status in the boxing world, and he should seize it. There is enough time before the battle," Jalolov commented.

For context, Crawford, aged 36, boasts an undefeated record of 40 professional fights, with 31 victories by knockout. Meanwhile, the 29-year-old Madrimov has competed in 11 fights, winning 10 of them, with one match resulting in a draw against a fellow Uzbek boxer.
