New army commanders were appointed to two military districts

According to the relevant order of the President of Uzbekistan, Major-General Oybek Ozodovich Saidov was appointed the commander of the troops of the Eastern Military District, and Colonel Farrukh Nortojievich Zirimashov was appointed the commander of the troops of the Central Military District.  This was reported by the Information and Mass Communications Agency of Uzbekistan.

Oybek Saidov was working as the commander of the troops of the Central Military District until his appointment – since October 2017.

Before the appointment, Colonel Farrukh Zirimazhov worked as the deputy chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Colonel Lutfullo Buzrukov was appointed as the deputy chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces instead of Farrukh Zigamzhov.
