The Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Pulat Bobojonov, has been dismissed from his position.
For reference, Pulat Bobojonov had been serving as Minister of Internal Affairs since 2017. Before this, he held various key positions, including Khorezm Region Governor, Bukhara Region Prosecutor, Jizzakh Region Prosecutor, Head of the Department for Combating Tax and Currency Crimes at the General Prosecutor's Office, and Deputy Prosecutor General of Uzbekistan.
It is worth noting that in August last year, Pulat Razzaqovich Bobojonov was awarded the Order of Honor, 1st degree.
