"Manchester City" has officially updated its Champions League squad, withdrawing several newly signed players. This was reported by "One Football".
According to the source, Abdukodir Khusanov, Omar Marmoush, and Nico González, who joined the club in January, have been removed from the Champions League squad list. However, head coach Pep Guardiola has opted to register Uzbek defender Abdukodir Khusanov over Brazilian center-back Vitor Reyes.
For reference, "Manchester City" is set to face "Real Madrid" in the Champions League play-offs. The match will take place on the night of February 12 at "Etihad" Stadium.
Earlier reports suggested that Khusanov could be given the chance to feature against "Real Madrid".
