Georgian ambassador presents credentials to Uzbek Foreign Minister

1247On February 19, the newly appointed Georgian Ambassador to Uzbekistan, David Kotaria, presented copies of his credentials to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov. The Foreign Minister shared this update on his Telegram channel.
During the meeting, Saidov congratulated the ambassador on his new appointment and expressed confidence in the further strengthening of bilateral ties between Uzbekistan and Georgia.
"We sincerely congratulate Mr. David Kotaria on his appointment as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Uzbekistan. Today, we received copies of his credentials," Saidov stated.
The two officials also discussed plans to enhance cooperation between the two nations.
"We explored ways to expand bilateral relations and identified priority areas for collaboration. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stands ready to provide full support to the ambassador in carrying out his diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan," the Foreign Minister noted.
For reference, earlier on the same day, Minister Saidov also received credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador of Estonia.
