Previously, certain restrictions were placed on the operations of gas stations in Uzbekistan. Recent reports on social media suggest that 'gas stations' might be reverting to a 24-hour working mode due to the warm weather prevailing in the country. QALAMPIR.UZ reached out to Hasan Toshkhojaev, the press secretary of the Ministry of Energy, seeking clarification on this matter.

According to him, it's inaccurate to claim that 100% of the 'gas stations' across the country have shifted to 24-hour operations. However, following expert inspections, assessments of gas pressure, and weather reports from the Hydrometeorological Agency, gas filling stations for vehicles might resume full operations.

It's worth noting that on December 8, restrictions were imposed on the operational hours of gas compressor stations providing gas for vehicles across all regions of Uzbekistan. The Ministry of Energy announced that all methane 'gas stations' in the republic would operate from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Subsequently, starting from December 12, as a cold weather mass hit the country, gas stations for vehicles began operating only from 06:00 to 12:00. On December 13, additional restrictions were imposed on methane gas stations in Tashkent city and the regions of Samarkand, Tashkent, Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana. It was reported that out of 1179 'gas stations' in these regions, only 547 were operational. However, as of yesterday, December 15, these additional restrictions have been eased.
