The Asian Futsal Cup quarter-final matchups concluded with Uzbekistan triumphing over Vietnam 2-1, securing their fifth consecutive appearance in the continental championship's semi-finals.
In the semi-finals, Jose Venancio Lopez's squad will confront Iran, the most successful team in the Asian Cup, on April 26.

The victor of the Uzbekistan-Iran encounter will meet either Thailand or Tajikistan in the final, scheduled for April 26.
As a point of reference, Uzbekistan and Iran's futsal teams have met six times previously, with Iran emerging victorious on all occasions. Their most recent encounter within official competition was in September 2021 at the World Cup, where Iran secured a 9-8 victory.
