On February 26, Shavkat Mirziyoyev issued a decree easing financial penalties imposed on businesses for breaches concerning fiscal signage and goods marking.

As per this decree, which entails an adjustment to Article 227-1 of the Tax Code, initial breaches of fiscal procedures will incur a fine equivalent to 2% of the net income from the previous quarter's sales. If the violation recurs within a year, the fine increases to 20% of the net income.

Previously, a fine of 100% of the net income was imposed for fiscal procedure violations. Now, 98% of the fine for this offense will be waived, and any legal actions for debt recovery will be concluded.

For fines already paid, 98% will be reimbursed to businesses through future payments.
