In Fergana, a gas station stole nearly 3 billion soums of gas

A car gas filling station that illegally used 2.9 billion soums’ worth of natural gas was discovered in the Fergana region. This was reported by Hududgaztaminot JSC.

It is noted that efforts are underway across all regions to identify cases of illegal use of natural gas. In particular, during an inspection of the gas consumption at this gas station, which belongs to N.I.B. LLC and is supplied with gas from the Turvat industrial network, it was revealed that the metering system had been tampered with through external interference.

According to the report, an official act was drawn up following regulations, the volume of stolen gas was recalculated, and the resulting damage was estimated at 2 billion 901 million soums. All documents related to the case have been forwarded to law enforcement agencies.

It should be recalled that earlier, during control measures aimed at detecting the illegal use of fuel and energy resources, a gas filling station was also uncovered in the Zangiota district of the Tashkent region, where natural gas worth 1.4 billion soums had been stolen.
