In recent days, reports have circulated on social media claiming that a “wild” person has appeared in the Beshariq district of the Fergana region and is allegedly attacking women and children. The regional Department of Internal Affairs has responded to the situation.
According to the statement, a rapid search and preliminary investigation were conducted, during which it was determined that no one had actually seen the so-called “naked man” or “wild man” mentioned by citizens. No such figure was captured by surveillance cameras, and the authorities concluded that the situation was a false message spread to cause unnecessary panic.
“Dear citizens, do not believe the above messages or draw inappropriate conclusions. We urge social media users not to spread such unfounded information,” the statement said.
