Individual Selling Illegal Drugs in Fergana Threatens Buyer with Knife During Arrest

The Ministry of Internal Affairs' investigative department recently announced the arrest of an individual who was involved in the illegal sale of potent drugs.  The person was apprehended while threatening a customer with a knife and using force during a quick event in the Fergana region. 

On the 22nd of April of this year, a concerned citizen reported to the internal affairs bodies that someone was attempting to sell "Regapen," a powerful drug imported from the Kyrgyz Republic, for a staggering sum of 14,976 US dollars.  Based on this report, a quick operation was conducted, during which the suspect was caught selling 16,828 units of "Regapen" in 1,202 blisters for a total of 165 million soms to a conditional buyer in the Koshtepa district.  However, upon realizing that an expeditious event was taking place, the perpetrator threatened to kill the buyer with a kitchen knife and was eventually subdued through the use of force.

As a result of this incident, a criminal case has been initiated under Part 3 of Article 2511 of the Criminal Code, and the suspect has been subjected to a preventative measure of imprisonment.  The investigation is still ongoing, and further action is pending.
