Water supply workers were beaten in Fergana

Reports on social media have emerged that a citizen attacked a water supply worker in the Fergana region. To clarify the situation, QALAMPIR.UZ contacted Ismail Sharipov, the press secretary of the Regional Internal Affairs Department.
Sharipov informed us that on August 15, S.M., an employee of "Fergana Water Supply" JSC, along with his colleague B.A., went to the "Vaziyo" neighborhood of Fergana district. There, a disagreement with a resident, N.R., escalated into a quarrel. As a result, N.R. assaulted S.M. and B.A.
"Currently, a forensic examination has been ordered to assess the extent of the injuries sustained by the victims, and investigations are ongoing," the report states.
It is also worth noting that earlier, employees of "Uzsuvtaminot" in Jizzakh were similarly assaulted.
