In the city of Margilan, Fergana region, a dispute erupted between a citizen who had not paid their water bill and a supervisor. This incident was reported by the information service of "Fergana Water Supply" JSC.

According to reports, the resident of the "Sarmazor" neighborhood owed 1,700,000 sums for unpaid drinking water bills.

To address the debt, a supervisor, Kha.A., from the Margilan city department of "Fergana Water Supply" JSC, visited the consumer's home. During the visit, a confrontation broke out, resulting in the supervisor sustaining a broken jaw and serious injuries.

In response to the incident, law enforcement agencies have initiated an inquiry, which may lead to a formal investigation.

It’s worth noting that a similar incident occurred earlier in Kashkadarya, where a gas supply employee assaulted a resident. Following prolonged gas shortages, residents of Koson district staged protests. During an argument, a gas service employee struck a citizen, hitting them in the jaw.
