1 person died as a result of a gas explosion in Fergana

One citizen has died as a result of a gas explosion in a house in the Alisher Navoi district of Kokan city of Fergana region.  This was reported by the Department of Emergency Situations.

It is noted that yesterday, 12 December at 3:24 p.m., according to a message received by the short number 101 of the Emergency Management of Kokan city, D.N., born in 1991, living in house 101/13 in the Alisher Navoi district died as a result of a gas explosion in the living room.

During the study, it was found that citizen D.N. had an explosion that occurred as a result of a mixture of gas and air when a match was lit to check the gas in his apartment.

As a result, D.N. died at the scene.  The deceased's brother B.N. was admitted to the Kokan City Medical Center with burns on different parts of his body.

Kokan city prosecutor's office is currently investigating this situation.
