On January 19, a man driving a Chevrolet Captiva overturned along with his vehicle on a narrow ravine road in a mountainous area of Fergana region. The regional Road Traffic Safety Department reported the incident.
According to the report, the accident occurred at around 21:00 in the Yordon neighborhood of Fergana district. A driver born in 1981, identified as A.A., was driving a Captiva on a narrow ravine path not intended for vehicle traffic. Due to snowy and slippery road conditions, the driver lost control of the vehicle, which overturned, resulting in a traffic accident.
As a result, the driver sustained severe injuries, including a closed head injury and coma, and was taken to hospital. Despite receiving medical assistance, A.A. later died.
It is worth noting that earlier, a bus and a Matiz car caught fire at a compressed natural gas filling station in Fergana city, Fergana region.
