Alisher Khidirov named deputy governor of Syrdarya region

Alisher Burievich Khidirov has been appointed as the Deputy Governor of the Syrdarya region, overseeing construction, creating a barrier-free environment, communications, utilities, ecology, and landscaping. The regional administration's press service reported the appointment, which took effect on February 4.
Before this role, Alisher Khidirov served as the director of marketing and service services at Uztemiryulyolovchi JSC, a subsidiary of Uzbekistan Railways.
It should be recalled that last month, Erkinjon Akbutaevich Turdimov—who previously served as khokim of the Samarkand region from 2018 to 2024—was appointed acting khokim of the Syrdarya region.
