Manuchehr Mirzayev named press secretary to Syrdarya regional governor

The Syrdarya regional governor, Erkinjon Turdimov, has appointed Manuchehr Boborahimovich Mirzayev as the head of the regional information service and press secretary to the governor, also serving as an advisor on information policy. The Syrdarya regional administration confirmed the appointment.

Before this new role, Manuchehr Mirzayev held the same position in the Samarkand regional administration, where he worked as the press secretary and advisor to the governor on information policy. His appointment was made following the recommendation of the Agency for Information and Mass Communications under the Administration of the President of Uzbekistan.

It should be recalled that Erkinjon Turdimov, who served as the governor of Samarkand from 2018 to 2024, was recently appointed as the acting governor of the Syrdarya region. His reassignment of key personnel suggests continuity in his approach to governance and media relations in the new region.
