Head of the Energy Efficiency Agency appointed

Ziyoviddin Bositovich Badriddinov has been appointed Director of the National Energy Efficiency Agency. This was reported by the Uzbekistan Republican Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange.
According to the relevant resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ziyoviddin Badriddinov was officially approved as Director of the National Energy Efficiency Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers.
Since 2019, Badriddinov has been serving as Chairman of the Board at the Uzbekistan Republican Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange.
For reference, the National Energy Efficiency Agency was established by the presidential decree titled “On measures to improve public administration in the field of increasing energy efficiency and develop the market for services of energy service companies” adopted on March 27 of this year. One of the agency’s main responsibilities is to implement a unified state policy on improving energy efficiency and to develop and regulate incentive mechanisms and impact measures in this area.
It should be noted that earlier it was reported that Asadulla Urolovich Kayumov had been appointed Chairman of the "Board of Uzbekistan Republican Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange" JSC.
