Hereinafter, citizens of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan can stay in Thailand for 30 days without a visa.  This is reported by “Bangkok Post”.

It is noted that the government of Thailand approved the proposal of the country’s tourism department and tour operators to increase the visa-free stay of foreign tourists.
According to the government decision on 19 August, citizens of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan can stay in Thailand for 30 days instead of 15 days.

For foreigners who have the right to enter Thailand without a visa, the period of stay in the country without a visa will be increased from 30 to 45 days.

As soon as the decisions are published in the royal newspaper, they can be considered to have officially come into force.

The Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has not yet commented on the above information.

According to the current regulations, a certificate of coronavirus infection or PCR test issued up to 72 hours before must be submitted for entry into the country.
