Pensions can now be converted to cash online

The Pension Fund has launched an online service on the my.gov.uz portal that allows pensions to be converted into cash.

According to the fund, the new service enables citizens to switch their pension payments to cash without leaving home. There is no longer a need to visit a district or city office of the Pension Fund in person.

To use the service, a citizen must register on the Unified Interactive State Services Portal (my.gov.uz), select the service titled “Transfer pension payment to cash form,” and submit a request. The service is free of charge and does not require any supporting documents.

It is worth noting that earlier it was reported that Uzbekistan had begun paying pensions in cash using biometric identification (Face ID). The Pension Fund noted that the introduction of this system aims to ensure that pensions are delivered to citizens in full and on time.
