Now consumer credit can be given for goods produced abroad. In this regard, yesterday, 10 April, the law signed by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev amended the law “On Consumer Credit.”
According to the introduced change, the transaction on the use of financial consumer credit can be concluded before or after the entry into force of the contract on the purchase of goods (services) by the consumer.
Also, providing a financial consumer loan is a way of transferring funds to the bank account of the producer or seller of consumer goods (services) by a bank or other credit organization.
It is not permitted to issue a financial consumer credit in cash.
The law shall come into force from the date of its official announcement.
