Registration fees for electric cars will be significantly lower compared to gasoline cars, with the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Uzbekistan implementing preferential treatment for electric vehicles.
Starting April 1, 2024, registration and re-registration fees for electric cars will be 1.5 times the base calculation amount, totaling 510,000 soums. Meanwhile, for all other vehicles, including gasoline cars, the fee will be set at 6.84 times the base calculation amount.
To incentivize the adoption of environmentally friendly vehicles, discounts are offered during the state registration of electric cars, promoting the shift towards greener transportation options.
