It has been revealed that 6.2 million tree saplings that had not been sown were registered as 'sown"

According to the report, more than 6 million unplanted trees were planted in the spring of this year as part of the "Green Space" national campaign.  It was mentioned at the meeting of the chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Norboyeva with the chairmen of the permanent commissions and heads of the secretariats of the local councils of people's deputies.

At the meeting, it was noted that quality work is not being done in some regions, in particular, there were shortcomings in the planting of tree saplings in the spring of this year within the framework of the nationwide campaign "Green Space".

It was noted at the meeting that without the systematic organization of tree planting work, appropriate officials were not directed to watering and maintenance.  6.2 million seedlings that were not planted were included in the reports, and 3.4 million seedlings were planted in areas without irrigation systems.  2.4 million seedlings died before the end of spring due to lack of water and insufficient care.  341,000 seedlings were planted on unusable land without taking into account the natural climatic features of the land.

The Chairman of the Senate has set several tasks for the local councils to eliminate shortcomings and problems in this regard, and to prevent them.
