2700Today, 22 October, the second day of the "Grand Slam" judo tournament will start in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE. In the program of the day, middleweight athletes will fight for medals and valuable ranking points for the Paris-2024 Olympics. Three representatives of Uzbekistan will defend the country's honor in today's competitions.
The competitors of Uzbek judokas in the first round:
-73 kg: Shahram Ahadov - Alexandru Raisu (Romania);
-73 kg: Obidkhan Nomanov - Said Al Naqbi (UAE);
-70 kg: Shohista Nazarova - Luisa Bonilla (Colombia).
It should be recalled that yesterday the representative of Uzbekistan Diyora Keldiyorova (-52 kg) won the silver medal in the competition and gained valuable points for the license of the Paris Olympics.
