2864Social networks have leaked information about the heating being turned off in entire apartment buildings in Tashkent due to individual debts. The heat supply operator "Veolia Energy Tashkent" denied these reports and gave an official response.
It was reported that the individual debts of subscribers cannot cause the heating to be turned off throughout the building. Currently, all necessary measures are being taken to ensure a stable and uninterrupted heat supply.
The company also called on citizens to trust only information distributed through official sources and refrain from spreading unconfirmed messages.
It should be recalled that in October last year, the prices for centralized heat supply in Tashkent increased from 105,754 soums to 121,617 soums per 1 gigacalorie (15 percent). Since February this year, the prices for hot water and heating have been increased in the Tashkent region. According to Ilhom Turayev, head of the department of the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services, heating and hot water, tariffs will be increased twice in 2025.
