Official exchange rates rise: Dollar and euro hit new highs

The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan has updated the exchange rates for foreign currencies against the Uzbek sum, effective January 6.
According to the new rates, the official dollar exchange rate has climbed by 26.83 sums, reaching a record high of 12,942.01 sums.
The euro exchange rate has also seen an increase of 50.91 sums, standing at 13,291.01 sums.
Similarly, the Russian ruble has risen by 1.81 sums, bringing the exchange rate to 117.12 sums.
