Uzbekistan’s dollar exchange rate soars to new peak

Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan has announced the official foreign exchange rates, effective on December 23.
As per the new rates, the official exchange rate of the dollar has increased by 18.01 soums, reaching a record high of 12,893.07 soums.
Meanwhile, the euro exchange rate has decreased by 19.93 soums, now standing at 13,386.87 soums.
The Russian ruble has risen by 1.21 soums, settling at 125.96 soums.
