Dollar exchange rate hits new record in Uzbekistan

The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan has announced the updated exchange rates for foreign currencies against the Uzbek sum, effective from January 22.
According to the latest data, the official exchange rate of the U.S. dollar has risen by 9.35 sums, reaching a record high of 12,984.44 sums.
Similarly, the euro saw a notable increase of 69.36 sums, now set at 13,442.79 sums.
The Russian ruble also appreciated, climbing by 2.27 sums to reach 129.90 sums.
These developments reflect ongoing fluctuations in the foreign exchange market, impacting both domestic and international trade activities.
