The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan has set the official exchange rates of foreign currencies against the Uzbek soum effective January 15.
According to the bank, the official exchange rate of the US dollar fell by 46.33 soums to 12,001.71 soums.
The euro declined by 78.08 soums and was set at 13,984.39 soums.
The Russian ruble dropped by 0.41 soums to 152.87 soums.
The Chinese yuan decreased by 5.75 soums and was fixed at 1,721.37 soums.
Meanwhile, the price of one gram of gold increased by 9,200 soums to 1,852,300 soums.
According to TradingView data, as of 4:00 p.m. Tashkent time on January 14, the price of bitcoin rose by 31,808,896 soums to reach 1,140,767,056 soums.
