The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan has set the official exchange rates of foreign currencies against the Uzbek soum effective from December 17.
Accordingly, the official exchange rate of the US dollar decreased by 24.45 soums to 12,105.56 soums.
The euro also fell by 12.97 soums and was set at 14,232.51 soums.
The Russian ruble declined by 0.48 soums to 152.56 soums.
The Chinese yuan, however, rose by 2.13 soums to 1,719.12 soums.
The price of one gram of gold increased by 5,700 soums, reaching 1,729,000 soums.
According to TradingView data, as of 4:00 p.m. Tashkent time on December 16, the bitcoin rate fell to 37,047,775 soums, equivalent to 1,052,662,905 soums.
