Uzbek soum weakens against US dollar

The Central Bank of Uzbekistan has set the official exchange rates of foreign currencies against the Uzbek soum effective May 5.

According to the regulator, the US dollar rose by 40.08 soums to 11,993.53 soums.

The euro also increased by 32.27 soums to 14,054.02 soums.

The Russian ruble fell by 0.96 soums to 158.52 soums.

The Chinese yuan strengthened by 5.43 soums to 1,755.93 soums.

The price of gold decreased by 1,400 soums per gram to 1,833,000 soums.

According to data from TradingView, as of 4:00 p.m. Tashkent time on May 4, the price of Bitcoin rose to 946,919,308 soums.
