Dollar exchange rate drops sharply

The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan has set the official exchange rates of foreign currencies against the Uzbek soum effective January 6.
Accordingly, the official U.S. dollar rate fell by 52.17 soums to 11,952.24 soums.
The euro also declined by 165.39 soums and was set at 13,963.80 soums.
The Russian ruble fell by 5.78 soums to 147.81 soums.
The Chinese yuan decreased by 6.95 soums to 1,710.84 soums.
Meanwhile, the price of gold increased by 15,200 soums per gram, reaching 1,731,700 soums.
According to TradingView data, as of 4:00 p.m. Tashkent time on January 5, the price of bitcoin rose by 57,273,060 soums to 1,111,452,336 soums.
