Dollar exchange rate drops sharply

The Central Bank of Uzbekistan has set the exchange rates of foreign currencies against the Uzbek soum effective from October 6.
Accordingly, the official rate of the US dollar fell by 39.24 soums, standing at 12,060.48 soums.
The euro also dropped by 66.63 soums to 14,156.59 soums.
Meanwhile, the Russian ruble declined by 1.93 soums, amounting to 146.97 soums.
