The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan has set the official exchange rates of foreign currencies against the Uzbek soum effective January 7.
Accordingly, the official U.S. dollar rate increased by 16.35 soums to 11,968.59 soums.
The euro also rose by 56.21 soums to 14,020.01 soums.
The Russian ruble declined by 0.07 soums to 147.74 soums.
The Chinese yuan increased by 2.83 soums to 1,713.67 soums.
Meanwhile, the price of gold rose by 39,800 soums per gram to 1,771,500 soums.
According to TradingView data, as of 4:00 p.m. Tashkent time on January 6, the price of bitcoin increased by 8,094,224 soums to 1,119,546,560 soums.
