17172Salohiddin Nuriyev, head of the Justice Department in the Kashkadarya region, has expressed opposition to discussing the activities of public servants. This will be reviewed and legally assessed, as announced by Deputy Minister of Justice Alisher Karimov during a press conference on June 3.
"The Ministry of Justice has formally responded to the opinions and comments made by the head of the Justice Department of Kashkadarya region at the press conference on social media. The ministry is investigating this situation and will provide a legal evaluation, with the findings to be shared publicly," said Alisher Karimov.
The deputy minister emphasized that, according to the Constitution of Uzbekistan, the people are the sole source of state power. The state represents the people's will and serves their interests.
"State bodies and officials are accountable to the people, as established in our Constitution. The Ministry of Justice operates on the principles of openness and accountability. The public has the right to oversee the formation and expenditure of the state budget," stated the Deputy Minister of Justice.
It should be noted that Salohiddin Nuriyev, head of the Kashkadarya Regional Justice Department, previously stated on social media that he opposes discussing the activities of civil servants, asserting that "there is no such thing as people's money or people's property; once money is transferred to the state budget, it becomes state property.”
