Uzhydromet has published the weather forecast for July 19–20.
According to the report, very hot and dry air masses from the south will continue to spread across Uzbekistan during the weekend.
Daytime temperatures are expected to reach 40–43 degrees Celsius, and in the southern and desert regions, they may rise to 44–45 degrees.
A slight drop in temperature is anticipated only in the northwestern parts of the country. On July 20, daytime temperatures in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the Khorezm region will be around 35–38 degrees.
In some areas of the republic, wind speeds may increase to 13–18 m/s, accompanied by dust.
Tashkent will experience mostly clear skies. The air temperature in the capital is expected to range between 24–27 degrees Celsius at night and 40–43 degrees Celsius during the day.
