Snow and rain expected over the weekend

Uzhydromet has published weather data for January 18-19.

According to the forecast, unstable weather is expected across Uzbekistan over the weekend. Occasional precipitation is predicted, with snow in the north and rain in most other regions of the republic.

Precipitation will be observed in the Fergana Valley regions only on January 19. The temperature will range from 0-5 degrees Celsius at night and 2-7 degrees Celsius during the day.

Fog may form in some areas of the republic at night and in the morning. Winds will blow from east to west at speeds of 7-10 m/s, and may increase to 13-18 m/s in some areas.

In Tashkent, occasional rain is expected, with precipitation (rain, snow) occurring on the night of January 18 and on January 19. Fog is possible at night and in the morning. The wind will be light to moderate. The air temperature will be 0-2 degrees Celsius at night and 4-7 degrees Celsius during the day.

It should be recalled that Uzhydromet previously issued an urgent warning about the risk of avalanches in the mountainous regions of the republic due to expected precipitation and sharp changes in air temperature from January 18-22 this year.
