Uzgidromet released weather forecasts for June 21-23.
According to the forecasts, temperatures across Uzbekistan will remain stable over the weekend. Nighttime temperatures will be between 20-25 degrees Celsius, and daytime temperatures between 34-39 degrees Celsius. Rain is not expected in most plains, except in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and on Saturday, June 22, in the Khorezm region, Fergana Valley, and desert areas of the Navoi region, where brief showers and thunderstorms might occur.
Winds from the east will blow at speeds of 7-12 m/s, increasing locally to 15-20 m/s with occasional dust.
Unstable weather conditions will persist in mountainous regions, leading to sporadic showers and thunderstorms in some areas.
There is a risk of flooding in mountainous areas across the republic.
