Davron Hidoyatov, who serves as the mayor of Chirchiq in the Tashkent region, has expressed his intention to resign, as reported by QALAMPIR.UZ.
Hidoyatov submitted his resignation voluntarily, citing a desire to pursue other employment opportunities.
According to sources, Zoyir Mirzayev, the regional governor, has yet to approve Hidoyatov's resignation. In the meantime, the mayor is actively engaged in his duties, including monitoring market prices in Chirchik.
Davron Hidoyatov, born in Tashkent in 1976, holds degrees from the Tashkent State University of Economics (1998) and the Academy of Banking and Finance (2001). His previous roles include serving as the mayor of the Chilonzor district (2017-2018), first deputy mayor of Tashkent city (2018-2021), and mayor of the Tashkent region (January-November 2021).
He assumed the position of mayor of Chirchiq in November 2021 after being transferred from the regional administration.
