Freight train wagons derailed in Chinaz

Two wagons of a freight train derailed in the Chinaz district of the Tashkent region, Uzbekistan Railways reported.
According to the report, the incident occurred at 21:30, when two wagons of a freight train traveling in the “Jizzakh–Tashkent” direction derailed near the Almazar station in the “Rasulobad” mahalla of Chinaz district.
No casualties were reported as a result of the incident.
Emergency response teams, including the district Department of Emergency Situations, the duty shift of the TBH, and other relevant services, were dispatched to the scene.
An investigation into the circumstances of the incident is ongoing. Train traffic has since been fully restored.
It is worth noting that earlier in the Samarkand region, a high-speed “Afrosiyob” train collided with a reinforced concrete slab that had been placed on the track.
