UFA issues guidelines for fans attending World Cup Qualifier at 'Bunyodkor'

Today, on March 20, the Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan national football teams will face off as part of the World Cup qualification matches. The Uzbekistan Football Association (UFA) and the Tashkent City Internal Affairs Department have issued a call for fans attending the match at the “Bunyodkor” Stadium to strictly adhere to public order and follow proper fan etiquette, according to a statement from the UFA press service.

“Entering the field is strictly prohibited! We would like to remind everyone of a previous incident where fans violated AFC regulations by storming the field, causing disorder. Those involved faced administrative and financial penalties from law enforcement authorities. We kindly request you to enjoy the match without breaking the rules and to respect the efforts of the many people working at the stadium. Let’s maintain a positive atmosphere,” the statement emphasized.

The Uzbekistan vs. Kyrgyzstan match is scheduled to start at 9:00 PM Tashkent time. The game is part of the 7th round of the 3rd stage of the World Cup qualifiers, with three rounds remaining before the conclusion of this phase.
