Murod Aliev: Bunyodkor will not start the season without a fan club

On March 4, a meeting was held with Murod Aliyev, the director of Tashkent’s “Bunyodkor” football club. Following the meeting, rumors circulated on social media claiming that the club’s fan club had been disbanded. However, Aliyev clarified to QALAMPIR.UZ that these reports are false.

In Uzbekistan, every professional football club has its fan club, composed of the most loyal and long-standing supporters who back their favorite players under any circumstances.

“The fan club has not been disbanded; we simply updated its composition. We bid farewell to the previous leader and appointed a new captain for the fans,” Aliyev explained.

He further emphasized that it is far from true that “Bunyodkor” will start the new season in Uzbekistan without a fan club.

It is worth noting that the previous season was challenging for the “Swallows.” The Tashkent-based club finished the season in 10th place with 30 points.
